Internship Programme

This Programme combines the study of the Italian language with unpaid work experience in an Italian company. The programme offers students an opportunity to use and improve their language skills and at the same time come into direct contact with a working environment which in many cases is peculiar to Italy.

The Internship Programme is made up of two components: Language Component and the Internship Component.


Language Component

The minimum language level required to access the Internship Component is B1.
In any case students are required to attend a 20 lessons/week course for a minimum of 4 weeks. (see Italian Language Courses section).

Internship Component

Students choose a work experience lasting from 4 to 24 weeks. The fee for 4 weeks is € 650; € 50, any additional week. The work experience usually takes place in Rome. Students can choose work experience in varies fields of work in line with their studies, qualification and experience.

Services Provided

Evaluation of student’s resume (C.V.), selection of appropriate company, preliminary interview with student, assistance in presentation of necessary documents, introduction of student to company, meetings with work experience co-ordinator, accident-at-work insurance coverage and certificate of attendance.

Enrolment fee:

€ 85. Payable once only, on enrolment; valid for all courses and programmes for 12 months. Enrolment fee includes all reception services (accommodation placement, certificates, etc.), use of school facilities, insurance for all activities organized by the school, seminars and social activities ( except dinners, concerts, operas, visits and excursions).
